Website Design Process

Most websites take 4–6 weeks from start to finish, depending on the size of the site, content readiness, and requested features. More complex projects may take longer.

Want to see the full breakdown of our website design process from start to launch? Read more here.

We encourage clients to provide a summary of their business and services, along with examples of preferred images. We can help with copywriting, stock photos, and content guidance where needed.

Absolutely. We design websites in WordPress or Shopify, giving you the ability to make text, image, and product updates without needing technical knowledge. We also provide training videos and documentation.

We handle basic SEO with each website project. This includes clean site and content structure, headings, meta titles, meta descriptions, and image alt text. If you have a specific list of keywords that you want to use, we will implement those into the design and basic SEO.

We also offer more advanced SEO services to our existing clients if you’d like to boost your visibility further.

Yes, whether your current site is outdated, slow, or hard to manage, we can migrate your content to a new, modern design that better reflects your brand. View more details about migrating an existing WordPress website or a website from another platform to WordPress here.

Yes! You can see some of our latest work on our portfolio page. This is only a small sampling of the work we’ve done. If you want to see work from a specific industry, let us know and we’d be happy to share more work.

We include a lot of great detail in every website project!

  • Design based on our initial website consultation and your input provided on our website design questionnaire.
  • Build out webpages using your content or content that we write.
  • Fill out the visual of each page with images you provide or with stock photos that we purchase for you.
  • Perform basic SEO that most other agencies miss during the design project.
  • Launch your website on our dedicated host server.

There is a lot of work that goes on between each of those steps, and we are always here to support your business needs before, during, and after your website design project.

As many as you want! Most small businesses operate with anywhere from 1 to 20 webpages, and e-commerce sites depend mainly on the types of products being offered.

We’ll talk about your webpage or product needs before the project starts and develop everything you’ve asked for.

All of our projects are built for growth, so if you need more pages or products later, that can easily be achieved.

This doesn’t happen, and if it does, we’re going to work with you to fix it.

Throughout the design process, we ask for your feedback and revisions to ensure you get the website design you want.

Projects get broken into several phases and rounds of revisions, and we don’t move forward in the process if there are still questions or concerns.

We love it when clients ask this—it shows you care about making this a true partnership, and that mindset sets us up for success together. To get the best results, here are three things we ask from you:

  • Be transparent. Share what excites you and what doesn’t. Let us in on your vision, your worries, and even the ideas that feel “out there.” The more we know, the better we can build something that feels true to your brand.
  • Stay engaged. Communication is everything. If you’re unsure about something, ask. If you need more time, tell us. And please reply to emails or calls promptly—it keeps the project moving smoothly and avoids delays.
  • Take ownership of your content. We’ll guide you, but carving out time to gather your photos and write your copy will make all the difference. A strong site starts with authentic content straight from you.

Our agreements are flexible and built around your needs. For website design projects, the agreement typically lasts only through the design and launch of your site.

For hosting and maintenance services, we offer month-to-month or annual options—so you’re never locked into a long-term contract. We believe in earning your business through excellent work and ongoing support, not binding commitments.

Website Pricing

Pricing varies based on project scope, but most small business websites start around $1,000 to $2,000. We’ll provide a detailed proposal after learning about your business goals and needs, including any special features or functionalities you need for your website.

You can learn more about our pricing model here:

Yes. Many clients choose to split project costs into multiple payments throughout the design process.

No hidden fees here. Any additional costs—like premium plugins, third-party software, or extra revisions—will be discussed with you before they’re added to your project. We believe in complete transparency, so you’ll always know what to expect.

We offer maintenance and support packages to keep your website updated, secure, and running smoothly. Pricing depends on the level of support you need. You can learn more about our ongoing support options here.

Your proposal includes a set number of revisions to ensure the design matches your vision. Additional revisions beyond that scope may incur extra charges, which we’ll always discuss upfront.

Website Hosting

No, but we highly recommend it. Our dedicated hosting ensures your website is fast, secure, and monitored 24/7. Hosting elsewhere may mean limited performance or support.

Note: Shopify sites are always hosted with Shopify, and you pay your subscription costs to them directly.

Our WordPress hosting is $45/month or $450/year. This includes server management, backups, SSL certificates, security monitoring, and more. Please take a look at the website hosting details here.

Yes. We handle the whole migration process to ensure a smooth transition with little to no downtime.

If your website is currently on WordPress, this process is very straightforward.

If you are not currently on WordPress, we would need to rebuild your website on our WordPress server before it can go live. It is still a relatively simple process and one that we are willing to work with clients on to give them the best possible results.

We offer managed hosting on dedicated servers, meaning your site isn’t sharing resources with thousands of others that are potentially unmonitored. This results in faster load times, better security, and direct support from us.
